watering the sky

I can hear the burning memories through the window

all the days pacing through your heart

when they start to step outside to realize

the sun starts to amplify

when the wind starts to damage the illumination

all the pressure building in your wings

All this desire pushing you higher

When the sky was blue and our dreams were high

a crack in the introspection

when dreams perspire in the distant without contrast

when memories walk through an echoing sky breaking a million mirrors

digging for lost damage in their lenses

breaking buildings behind their mind

create the forecast of comprehension to silence the pain

they fly across the painted ocean with flashlights in their hands

ride through the spinning Ferris wheels without emotional restrictions

breaking all the filters to grow across a dream

fishing through the silver skies

don’t capsize this ability

words won’t come out from their mouth

mirrors bending in the rain

when we can’t control this world on our own

burning the past away

reward system

when I tear myself through the window

did I catch a piece of your sanity?

pacing up and down this maze

I lock down my heart

To wait for the day

when you can clean the darkest frustration

scrubbing the bruises from my veins

like a batting cage they take their turn

I can see colors burning through the distance

breath in and out

they inhale every secret left inside my mind

a million words are exhaled

but I can’t translate a blind man’s burden

run through this glass covered maze

skin broken to bone

men watch in uniform

they shake the locks with cruelty

shut my eyes with polaroids under every scar

flash every emotion away

their hands shake at they keys

will they unlock the doors?

men run into secret cars

bury frustration at my knees

turn on the only channel tuned to your heart

can’t stay alive kicking through these doors

divide every opportunity into equal parts

look at all the directions

clean up my memories

watch the ships crash into the bridge of desire

run through the streets with a color burning deep in my eyes

catch the reflection lost in secrecy

are you the pain I can’t live without?

are you the pain i’ve nurtured since my youth?

deep into the illusion of yesterday

men run into secret cars

hoping for a way out of this town

when the crowds beat us up from the inside

when the people start to run into the sky

do they look at my past mistakes?

look at the crowds like a prisoner in the dark

grip my youth until we don’t age

these strings break with callous mistakes

these walls fall apart with every ounce of hope

when we speak again

when we change our minds
