watering the sky

I can hear the burning memories through the window

all the days pacing through your heart

when they start to step outside to realize

the sun starts to amplify

when the wind starts to damage the illumination

all the pressure building in your wings

All this desire pushing you higher

When the sky was blue and our dreams were high

a crack in the introspection

when dreams perspire in the distant without contrast

when memories walk through an echoing sky breaking a million mirrors

digging for lost damage in their lenses

breaking buildings behind their mind

create the forecast of comprehension to silence the pain

they fly across the painted ocean with flashlights in their hands

ride through the spinning Ferris wheels without emotional restrictions

breaking all the filters to grow across a dream

fishing through the silver skies

don’t capsize this ability

words won’t come out from their mouth

mirrors bending in the rain

when we can’t control this world on our own

burning the past away

“a trespass blinded by youth”

wall 3.16.2020

I stood outside the door
press my fingers through the air
children walk by with stars in their eyes
stare straight ahead
A vision collapses through time
too scared to take a break
find the escape
dreams driven by you

still upset by the clenching of time
words that break apart
a madness lost inside
a dream of the past
where all the future stands still
waste away for another day

their hearts start to collapse
press my tears through the sky
a trespass blinded by youth
catch a million faces burning in the light
faces blur past recreation

an image lost in their hearts
did we stop to burn habits into gold?
faces start to question God
a scripture burned through skin

wasting away on self concern
feeding people with the lost harvest

An Instrument of Glass

a step against violent days
breaking through the floors
lose my face like shattering voices trapped through a distant past
fall without a doubt when you press against their youth
We’re hiding my thoughts until they dig too deep
Watch from the towers above lost in the sky
I caught you within the control point
sharp like matches pressing through crystal visions
damage oversaturated
memories conquer me through a lost escape
touch the faces from the hiding room
sickness driving deeper and deeper
I adored your past until it made you bleed
I adored your future while before it clenched me
through a cloud of separation the figures break like glass

a hope beating faster and faster

I heard you reach out from the distance
all the cars crashing inside my head
can we ever go deeper than this true aspect
multiply half a mind and shatter past mistakes
fog pressing under my skin
prevent a million relapses with one disguise
hurt breaking from the mirror in your mind
don’t try to stand around to watch it all fall inside
drive a hundred million miles on the icy shores
not a day left damaged to struggle against
watch the colors forecast a hope beating faster and faster
we shelter the world stuck in isolation

“flags in your eyes”

to witness a loss of betrayal
push up against the freezing colors
a millions lights inside your head
coming too close to the stars
whisper to the back of sleep
speaking endlessly
slipping into another world
I hear them calling
take my aim so far away
noises wake us from slumber
lay down these dreams
hands that hurt to familiarize
take me into paradise
circle the injection coming too close to forgetting

a numbness aching like a gift
press it all too late
running through the wind
I hear you call out like a heat that intensifies through a star
turning back time to find you there
ice breaking at my skin from time to time
I catch you from beyond flying all the flags into your eyes
when you broke into paradise
shout against the memories shaking me down
follow the freedom marching on her back
confusion breaking through my heart
translating every emotion driving me home
color the paper dolls
lock this gift away
don’t consume it all
I think I’m falling too deep
lock my heart away with a key
keep changing past perfection

“words lost in purity”

light up the staircase of her memory
climb with precision catching pictures falling in the dark
all you meant to me is swimming so far away
into so many pieces I am immobilized
fly through the room in procession
losing atmosphere I choose a new way out
to hide away from the night and fall into the light
you stand still breaking clean from every trace of sin
into a new view a million colors crashing from the night
separate confusion from ambition burning deep inside

walking through the streets
faces with half calculated expressions
move free but don’t go away until it all makes sense
stand across cathedral bells and towards the future
a spark to ignite inspiration yearning past school yards
all around we move through comprehension one more time
every emotion falling from the inside
words lost in purity

“numb your fingers”

stumble out of focus burning for new memories
lost again to this silence
press my face against the window to feel time
I lose directions all at once
a value so introspective
they wash away the future with just a glance
secrets burning through the wind
choose all the colors yearning from the light
write down the definitions to fight for your life
pace up and down the trampoline held up by your youth
spin across the wires to numb your fingers from retrospect
I see you through the crowd
you wear so many masks to hide from it all
spitting out a new frequency in blue and green
sit still in this isolation and face the wall
crumple up words on paper until you find truth
I saw you with chemicals in your voice
one more chance to spin across disbelief to make it right

“secrets shatter like plates of glass”

scatter the sky into a million lost pieces
lock myself through the walls
behind every secret you tear apart my daydreams
fascinate to burn against my skin
climb the rollercoaster to withstand ageless color
a crack against my footstep
a wind breaks apart every drop of my last worry
cry out for tomorrow you hold me too deep to understand
secrets shatter like plates of glass
every direction fumbling in the dark
dream of the shipyard where we belong
hands crack behind the color-wheel
drifting through a million voices locked in the wind
will you resist me in the dark?
will you marry me past comprehension?
balloons break into dust
figures start to demand company
clouds start to separate you told me so
to skin a broken trespass
pretend to climb the wall in unity
locked where ambition holds me deep
I want to help you understand
photographs too brittle to touch
all I wish is coming true
all I wish is coming true
children laugh in the dark
grow up in this park
men with cathedral eyes pace the floor
choose the distance but don’t run too far

“rejuvenation”

under the trap door we lose ourselves between chemical lies
all the colors of sadness disappear before creation
faces beyond interpretation to string my values
step to stand still against an emotional wall
dreams pressed so severe you leave me crawling against time
shake my introspection behind street scenes
paint the discoloration of a secondary relapse
push apart the sky with a gift burning for freedom
a skyscraper to dodge secrets buried from time
behind amplification pushing to describe a lost sequence
we need them here too long to understand
outstretch my hands to paint sidewalks because I miss you
lost in the streets to fall victim to sleep deficits
hide away from siren screams
men walk through supermarkets to reveal every moment left alive
you confuse love & morality but wear the same mask
blocked by the only passerby we duck every scene of your march to hold onto their life
We stare across secondary crowds to film seconds disarming from an outburst of rejuvenation
